22nd Phil Bryant All Star Event

22nd Phil Bryant All Start Luncheon & Games

When: March 25 & 26, 2017

Where: Pleasant Valley High School, Chico, CA

About the Event:

The high school All-Star Games were created by Phil Bryant, a former Westwood High School coach.  Phil is currently #1  Adidas high school camp director, and was a part of all-star games in other areas of the state.  He wanted to bring the same opportunity to the Northern Section.  His goal was to invite the best senior boys and girls in the entire section together for a great ending memory to their high school basketball career.

April 22, 2012 referee, Pleasant Valley High School alum and Chico State Student, Mitch Padula was tragically killed.  At the 2013 All-Star game, Phil Bryant awarded the first of 2 annual Mitchell Padula Memorial Scholarships.

A second memorial scholarship was started at Chico State. Since 2014, the Mitchell A. Padula Memorial Scholarship has been awarded to a Chico State student annually.  Our goal is to have this Scholarship become endowed.  Once this is achieved, the Mitch Padula Scholarship will be awarded annually in perpetuity to a Chico State student.

This year, some proceeds from the 22nd Phil Bryant All-Star games will be put towards the endowment at Chico State.  We are looking for sponsors.  We appreciate your time and consideration. Please contact Bill Padula (530)518-8137 or by email BillPadula@outlook.com
