Glenn County 5th Annual Career Speaker Day

Glenn County Office of Education (GCOE) CTE Coordinator/WorkAbilityI Director, Linda S. Riggle, would like to extend an invitation for your participate in the 5th Annual Career Speaker Day Events in Glenn County. GCOE is excited at the prospect of having various individual expertise represented at these events and hopes for high attendance of guest speakers and exhibitors.

Interested individuals or organizations have the option of participating by hosting a booth and/or being a speaker in one of the event breakout sessions.

The Glenn County Office of Education serves approximately 450 students from school districts all over the North State who attend the events. In previous years, these events have experienced participation from over 60 guest speakers in breakout sessions and had the military and college representatives with booths set-up.

The Annual Career Speaker Day Events are geared at 10th graders, but junior and senior level students will be invited to attend the booth events at the end of the day.

This year, GCOE is hosting two days for the events. Event dates are as follows:

Friday, April 15, 2016 from 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM in Willows, CA. Students from Elk Creek, Princeton and Willows schools will attend this event.

Thursday, April 28, 2016 from 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM in Orland, CA. Students from Hamilton, Orland and William Finch schools will attend this event.
